Couples Psychotherapy
In-Person or Online
I work with couples who want to:
Strengthen their connection
Improve communication
Break out of painful patterns that keep repeating.
In therapy, we focus on:
Understanding each partner’s emotional experience
Identifying the dynamics that lead to conflict or distance
Building healthier ways of relating to one another.
I help couples navigate issues such as:
Trust
Intimacy
Resentment
Life transitions
Separation and co-parenting
Differing needs or expectations.
My approach to couples therapy is collaborative, relational and grounded in practices such as the Gottman Method. I help couples understand the patterns they get stuck in and the underlying emotions and needs driving conflict, rather than focusing on blame or ‘winning’ arguments. Therapy is a space to slow things down, strengthen emotional connection and build more effective ways of communicating.
Drawing from Gottman interventions and my doctoral training, I support couples in improving conflict management, increasing emotional responsiveness and strengthening trust, intimacy and repair. These tools are integrated thoughtfully and tailored to each couple’s unique history and context. My goal is to create a balanced, non-judgmental space where both partners feel heard, supported.
